Throws for Room Decoration

Since we know that throws are usually made from wool, velvet, fur to provide warmth in the cold season, they are hard to maintain as the materials are heavy. To ease the cleaning method, cotton throws can be a better alternative. Cotton is lighter than wool or fur and you can clean them in machine or by hand at home. They are also made from thick textured material to provide the cosy feeling during winter. You will see them in hundreds of colors, patterns and styles.

Different types

The herringbone is a classic design for those who love traditional and sober style. The design resembles the bone pattern of a fish called herringbone.  From over twenty hues choose the colour that complements the wall paint at the back.

Border Twill throw design is a weaving design that matches any décor setting. It features tight twill and wide stripes at the borders. The hand crafted fringes elevates the appeal.

Along with various weaving style, there are many printed throws in the shops. The geometric prints, floral prints both in small and large motifs, animal prints, and scripts are popular. If the curtains are printed, then solid colours will work wonders as they will create a contrast. On the contrary, for curtains with solid hues, use interesting weaves or prints.

The vibrant colours are often preferred since the couch is much used furniture. Light shades will get dirty very soon. If you have kids and pets, consider them while selecting the colour and style.
